Google Play Store Compliance Policy
Policies for RUMREN Android Mobile Applications
This document governs the compliance of RUMREN mobile applications with the Google Play Developer Policy, mobile device privacy standards, Android runtime permission transparency, and user data management across native and hybrid mobile applications.
1. Google Play Developer Policy Compliance
RUMREN mobile applications distributed via the Google Play Store are designed and maintained in strict compliance with the Google Play Developer Distribution Agreement and Google Developer Program Policies.
1.1 Security Standards & Source Code Integrity
Applications are completely free from malicious code, malware, invasive adware, and do not bundle third-party executable packages attempting payload execution outside the Android OS security sandbox.
1.2 Data Safety Section Transparency
Data collection disclosures declared in the Google Play Store Data Safety section accurately represent the technical practices enforced by RUMREN applications.
1.3 Handling Modified Applications (Sideloading)
We only guarantee data integrity, technical support, and account security for APK/AAB builds downloaded directly from the official Google Play Store or our verified rumren.id domain portals.
2. Device Permission Management & Transparency
RUMREN applications adhere strictly to the principle of least privilege. We request only runtime permissions that are absolutely essential for specific user-initiated features:
2.1 Notification Permission (POST_NOTIFICATIONS)
Used to deliver Muslim Pro prayer time alerts, SSO OTP verification codes, and Monifi budget threshold warnings. Users may revoke notification access at any time via Android System Settings.
2.2 Precise Location Permission (ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION)
Solely utilized to compute accurate directional Qibla bearings and localized prayer timetables in the Muslim Pro module. GPS coordinates are processed locally on-device and are NEVER stored on location-tracking servers.
2.3 Camera & Media Permissions (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES / CAMERA)
Requested only when the User decides to update a profile avatar, scan QRIS payment codes, or attach transaction receipts. The app never accesses the photo gallery without explicit User action.
2.4 Biometric Authentication (USE_BIOMETRIC)
Used to streamline app unlocking via Fingerprint or Face recognition. Biometric validation is handled exclusively by your device's hardware security enclave (KeyStore/TEE) and is never transmitted to our servers.
3. Mobile Device Data Protection & SDK Security
Android app security is constructed upon Google Android's sandboxing architecture to prevent inter-application local data interception.
3.1 Local Storage Encryption (EncryptedSharedPreferences)
SSO authentication tokens and user preferences cached locally in device memory are secured utilizing Android Jetpack Security with hardware-backed encryption keys.
3.2 Third-Party SDK Component Auditing
All third-party Software Development Kits (SDKs) integrated into the application (such as Firebase Cloud Messaging for push notifications) undergo privacy compliance audits to ensure no unauthorized background data harvesting occurs.
3.3 Rooted Device Warning
Operating the RUMREN app on rooted Android devices degrades sandbox defenses and exposes encryption tokens to interception. We recommend using certified production firmware for optimal data safety.
4. Mobile In-App Transactions & Strict No-Refund Policy
These terms govern all subscription packages, Stars credits, and product license activations initiated through the mobile app.
4.1 Immediate Transaction Finality
All purchases processed through the application are final and non-cancellable once digital units or license entitlements are credited to your SSO account.
4.2 Prohibition of Google Play Refund Abuse
Initiating unilateral refund requests via Google Play after consuming or receiving digital items constitutes fraudulent behavior. RUMREN reserves the right to immediately terminate the offending account and blacklist the User across all ecosystem services.
4.3 Cellular Carrier Connection Losses
RUMREN is not responsible for failed transactions or airtime balance deductions resulting from mobile network disconnects occurring midway through carrier billing handshakes.
5. Child Safety & Family Content Policy
RUMREN complies with the Google Play Families Policy and the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) in designing mobile interface content.
5.1 Target Audience & Age Criteria
RUMREN applications are intended for general audiences and adult productivity (ages 13 and above). Our apps do not specifically target children under 13 as a primary audience without parental oversight.
5.2 Prohibition of Inappropriate Content
The app contains no vulgarity, hidden gambling, adult content, or violent imagery that violates Google Play content policies or Indonesian legal norms.
5.3 Protection of Minors' Data
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under the age of 13. If we discover that a minor under 13 has registered without verified parental consent, we will promptly delete the account records from our databases.
6. Crash Reports & Performance Diagnostics (Crashlytics)
To preserve app stability and minimize Application Not Responding (ANR) events, we collect anonymous diagnostic data via the Google Play Console and Firebase Crashlytics.
6.1 Diagnostic Data Elements Collected
Includes: Device brand and model (e.g. Samsung, Xiaomi), Android OS build, memory status at the moment of failure, and stack trace logs. This information is purely technical and contains NO personal information or user passwords.
6.2 Purpose of Performance Analytics
Diagnostic telemetry is used exclusively by our engineering team to isolate root causes, optimize memory and battery efficiency, and release timely stability hotfixes.
6.3 User Participation Options
Users can toggle whether device diagnostics are shared with app developers via native Android system settings under Google > Usage & Diagnostics.
7. Version Updates & Android OS Compatibility
RUMREN routinely updates its Android mobile applications to deploy new capabilities, boost execution speed, and bolster cybersecurity defenses.
7.1 Target API Level & Minimum SDK Requirements
Applications are compiled against the latest Target API Level specifications mandated by Google Play to ensure full compatibility with modern Android OS runtime protections.
7.2 In-App Updates & Mandatory Security Patches
For critical releases impacting financial data integrity or SSO authentication, the app may prompt an in-app update requirement before continued usage is permitted.
7.3 Legacy OS Support Sunset Policy
Compatibility with legacy Android OS versions that no longer receive official security patches from Google may be systematically retired to safeguard ecosystem integrity.
8. In-App Account Deletion & Developer Contact
In compliance with the Google Play Account Deletion Policy, RUMREN provides straightforward self-service options to delete your account both from inside the app and via external web endpoints.
8.1 In-App Account Deletion
Users can navigate directly to Account Settings > Privacy & Security > Delete My Account to initiate instant account closure without having to submit a manual support ticket.
8.2 Web-Based Account Deletion Portal
For users who have already uninstalled the mobile app, account and data deletion requests may be lodged through our web portal at the RUMREN Data Erasure Request Portal.
8.3 Official Developer Contact
Inquiries regarding mobile app engineering, bug reporting, or Google Play policy compliance may be directed to our development team via the official developer email listed on the Google Play Store or through the Support Center.
