So I look down at the water surface

The city begins to light up
But the crowds seem all too lonely
“Why are you down?”, asks the Glico sign
But I turned and plunged into the huddled backs

It’d be so much easier if I gave up
But my cowardice is beckoning me
I look up at the sky a little while longer
And wish that tomorrow will be a clear day
